Family Yoga
Welcome!
What is Family Yoga?
It's not...
✗ The same as adult yoga
✗ Learning to sit still and be quiet
✗ Taking instructions from a 'teacher' about what you can and can't do
✗ Dropping your child off or sitting on the sidelines not being involved
✗ Feeling alone in parenting
It is...
✓ About having fun, making noise and learning through games
✓ Moving your bodies and exploring feelings
✓ Getting to do some yoga yourself while connecting with your child/ren
✓ Learning tools to help with stress and anxiety
✓ Sharing and making new friends
Hi, I’m Louise
Hi, I’m Louise — I’m passionate about working with children and their grown-ups.
I’ve been involved in yoga for nearly 20 years, and after having my own children, I realised many families were missing out on the simple, powerful tools that yoga offers to help regulate emotions and manage stress.
So, in 2024, I began teaching family yoga — and I haven’t looked back!
My qualifications:
350hr Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching – (Australian Yoga Academy (2018)
50hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training – Karina Smith (2019)
Current First Aid Training (2025)

I can’t wait to welcome you and your little ones onto the mat.
“My two children have been attending Louise’s family yoga classes since they were 18 months and four years old. Now, every time we pass the street where classes are held, they excitedly ask, ‘Is it a yoga day?!’
It’s such a beautiful, calming environment where they’re free to move, play, and begin to understand their emotions in a meaningful way. Louise’s classes are gentle, joyful, and thoughtfully tailored to each child — I can’t recommend them highly enough.”
